Helen Christodoulidi joint the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Lincoln as a Lecturer.
In 2010, she was awarded her doctor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Patras in Greece, while part of her studies was carried out at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in Germany. Subsequently, she worked as a postdoctoral research fellow for two years at the University of Padova in Italy and for three years at the University of Patras. In 2017 she was awarded an independent research fellowship, funded by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation, for studying Complex Hamiltonian Systems at the Academy of Athens.
Dr Christodoulidi’s research is in Applied Mathematics with particular interest in Nonlinear Dynamical Systems, Hamiltonian and Statistical Mechanics, Perturbation Theory, Integrable Systems, Numerical Methods for ODES and PDES and Mathematical Modelling of Complex Systems. She uses both programming and analytical methods.
